TimberCreek Furntiure has been serving the lake home and cabin owner since 1986. We believe in living "green," where quality that lasts is better for the world, the environment and the pocket book and that the satisfaction of owning such furniture is timeless.

TimberCreek Furniture has a long history. The business began as Dirks Furniture in 1913 in the rural community of Olivia, Minnesota when August Dirks, the family patriarch, moved his family from Arlington, Minnesota, in a horse-drawn covered wagon, to start the store. The business became succesful and was passed on to Harold then to Ben and finally today to Steve Dirks. In 1986 the Dirks Family expanded to Shakopee with their second store. The Shakopee location began to focus more and more on rustic and lodge furniture and accessoriies and in 1991 the name was changed to TimberCreek Furniture. The name better represents the emphasis on the cabin furniture and accessories that has become the TimberCreek Lifestyle.
Today, TimberCreek Furniture has introduced The TimberCreek Lifestyle with everything that is needed to outfit your cabin or home.
